PERFORMANCE PLATFORMS AND REPERTOIRE -
  • Over the course of the week your performance platforms are:
  • the opening concert on Monday night
  • the informal concert on Wednesday night,
  • the private formal concert on Thursday night
  • and the informal concert on Friday morning (eg a light-hearted piece)
Repertoire suggested for the above:
You require one solo song or duet for each concert (but you can do the same piece twice or more, which enables you to consolidate the work taught in lesson and/or coaching).

We advise bringing repertoire which you are familiar with or have memorised (eg this could be something as simple as a folk song you know, 17th/18th Century Italian aria, Lied, French song, English art song or musical theatre song).

Please remember to pack your (3) copies of music (there are no photocopying facilities at the Hall).

"I am delighted to wholeheartedly recommend the 'VI experience' as being both highly effective and great fun. The individual Masterclasses were the highlight for me and I was particularly impressed at the encouraging and supportive manner in which you managed to draw out unsuspected talent from all levels of singer from near
beginners to the more experienced."

“The course was 'life changing' brilliant and I hope to return next year if I have the energy. Had many light bulb moments from Wilma. Her highly professional and accessible approach to singing technique put me in a better place. A brilliant teacher.”
