Solo Singing Course

We are delighted to be running our course at this stunning Rowley Estate venue - a multi-awarding winning luxury holiday home in the Lake District with exceptional facilities.

Melmerby Hall is a Grade II listed 5* and Gold award winning country mansion in the heart of the Eden Valley located close to the Lake District and set within its own extensive walled gardens.

The earliest mention of Melmerby Hall dates back to the 1300s with the Hall extended and added onto a number of times over the last 700 years. Melmerby Hall has been within the Rowley Estates for four generations and the recent renovations retain the character of this traditional country house including the oak panelled library, the dining room with an enormous stone fireplace, the Georgian drawing room with an open fire whilst accommodating modern use with newly refurbished ensuite facilities.

DINING at the Hall
Following an enjoyable but hard day's work, one of the pleasures of the course is savouring the delicious, freshly prepared food and a glass of wine in the company of the other participants as you relax in the dining room. This year's caterer comes highly recommended by Rowley Estates and "focuses on ‘home cooked’ Cumbrian meals" using as much locally grown produce as possible. These high quality meals are produced from scratch and the menus are varied and imaginative.
Dining quote

"Catching up with old friends, making new ones, knowing I'm going to have a wonderful week of music making and fine dining - what more could I ask for to look forward to every year?!"
